Stéphanie's Surprise 30th Birthday Party

Stéphanie's turned 30 recently, so Dave and Bridget organized a wonderful surprise party for
her. Dave flew down from New York, all of us gathered at Bridget's house, and Mary Beth
went to get Stéphanie, ostensibly to go out for drinks with Bridget. When she walked in the
front door, it was clear the efforts weren't in vain...for once the surprise actually worked! In
honor of her birthday we had a wine-tasting party, in which everyone was supposed to bring
a bottle of wine that cost less than $8 (we are all students, after all) and we'd try to figure out
which ones were worth drinking. It turned out to be a very nice night. Here are a few pix:
