We arrived at our selection: Cow Wreck Beach. The cab driver
asked when we wanted to
be picked up and refused to take any money, saying we could pay him at
the end of the day
after he'd taken us back. Being so separated and with very few
residents (around 300), they're
very relaxed. We walked through the beach bar to get our first
glimpse of the beach itself and it
was marvelous. Certainly one
of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been on; helped by having
so few people
there. We arrived with a couple in the same cab, and had the
place to ourselves
for the morning. At the peak, there were probably a dozen or so
people on this long
sandy beach.
