We ate lunch at Glady's Cafe, a remarkably good restaurant in the old
part of St. Thomas,
only a block or so from all the fancy jewlery stores. The island
food was outstanding, with
roti and curried mutton that were delicious, with sides of plantain,
yucca, rice & beans,
and the ubiquitous mac &cheese. Mmmmmm!. Their homemade
hot
sauce was great,
too, and we bought a couple of bottles...unfortunately they didn't
survive
the flight home.
