After shooting an early dress rehearsal last week from the audience's
point of view, this week I was able to
play around during the final tech and dresses. I photographed
mostly from the wings to incorporate the sources
of the strong sidelighting and to get a different perspective on these
wonderful dancers. These are my favorites:
Photos made using a Leica M6TTL with 90/2.8 elmarit-m
lens and Fujipress1600 film and a Leica M2 with 35/2 summicron-m lens
and Fujipress 400 film.
No filters, to minimize flare. Processing and scans by Costco,
adjustments in
Photoshop.
