This past Saturday Allison and I were driving to Guglhupf for
breakfast when we came across this sight.
Evidently the bridge was a little lower than the driver expected.
Nobody was hurt, but it sucks to have
to tell your boss what you did to his truck. I'm sure it's no
picnic for the people who's stuff it was, either. - scroll down -
After breakfast, we drove back by to discover that the moving
truck had been towed back. The contents were
strewn all over the road. Much was destroyed, but some (including
this mirror and television set) were unharmed. - scroll down -
Driving into the bottom of a bridge sure will mess up a
truck.
I'm told this happens several times a month
at this
particular bridge, since it's on a pretty
major road, and that they had just
put up new (bigger) signs the week before this happened.
