On Friday we went to Bynum for the weekly summer music series next to the general store.
The music, by Abe and the Spikedrivers was excellent...Abe (right) has an amazing voice.
Like always, it was a casual good time. We picked up BBQ from Allen & Sons, one of the
few BBQ joints to still smoke their pigs over hickory. Dr. Stephanie went for the hush puppies.
Nothing to do with the concert...This is the standard view I've had of Allison over the last few
weeks as she finished up her dissertation and prepared for her defense, coming up on Friday.
The other big event of last week (for me) was my opening at Shade Tree.
